I have had the opportunity to experience Rosalinde’s career coaching skills in two very different and important ways, a LinkedIn profile overhaul and a role-playing experience.
Ros completely changed my opinion about the value of role play as a tool to prepare for an upcoming conversation. My professional training, both as a Speech-Language Pathologist and as a Coach, involved interacting with practice clients in a real way–– there was no acting. And frankly, until recently I didn’t see the value of creating a ‘contrived’ situation. Then I was given the assignment to engage in a coaching conversation with an organizational leader who was seeking a narrative coach. Ros stepped into the role of a leader so I could practice. It was an amazing experience –– real, helpful, revealing of my strengths and needs, and ultimately confidence building. I do believe that life gives us many opportunities to practice and learn in real-life situations. For those situations where there’s a lot riding on the outcome of a future conversation, I highly recommend Ros as a coach.
I also had the experience of Rosalinde’s mastery of LinkedIn through a group webinar she gave. Ros is now my ‘go to’ person for anything LinkedIn. She’s knowledgeable, strategic, and a breath of fresh air. I needed to update my LinkedIn profile, and I kept putting it off. Working with Ros made it easy. Not only did I feel great about my profile when we were done, but I had also learned about many useful features I wouldn’t otherwise have known about.
